At first I was quietly working on getting ready to start a new round in Sundry Station, starting with my lovely Sarah Green and the ROW Challenge. Unfortunately, late on the night of Halloween, someone caused a sprinkler head to break off, causing at least 5000 gallons of water to flood my dorm. Luckily, my room was not affected. However, I didn't move back into my dorm until yesterday. While setting up my things, my computer, which was previously reliable, wouldn't start. Also, my warranty had run out, and HP decided to give a web address to get a number. Not very helpful if you can't even start your computer.
So after trying everything I could think of, I finally had to resort to System Recovery, not knowing that it would completely erase my hard drive. So I'm starting over with a fresh slate. No annoying problem of unlinking instead of deleting my CC files, but on the other side of the coin... no files. All my work is absolutely obliterated. I'm working on restoring my music files at the moment. I've re-installed the base game, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do from there. This was all to let you know that Wellington Women, As Long As We Both Shall Live, Sundry Station Asylum, and Prosperity Park have come to an abrupt halt and I've lost about 6 months of hard work. We will all miss Belladonna, her children and her continual search for her one true love...that wouldn't die.

Edit: I was messing around in CAS last month and what do you know: somehow I managed to recreate Belladonna! She will be returning, but at an unspecified date. (written 2/28/08)

The Chauvinist died on Wednesday night, and Bella stopped talking to me at the same time, so we've some time before number four comes to meet his doom, but still a few interesting things happened.

I'd have asked Alan to narrate since he was wandering around and obviously had nothing better to do, but I need to brush up on my Ghostlish.

So why don't you tell us some things that happened this week?
Sure. Our house is haunted. My real daddy, Avalon's real daddy, and Mr. Bruening-who's-not-related-to-Marsha. They're supposed to stay in the back yard though. They scared Mommy real bad before my little brother was born.

Mommy said it scared her into "bumping early." I dunno what that means.

I wasn't supposed to tell you this, but *whispers* She piddled on herself.

Mommy thought she was going to die. I was scared, so I stayed in my bed.
I thought your mother was going to die too. That would've sucked, cause you're not old enough.

Then it was my sister's birthday. I was glad cause now we can play together and be friends and stuff.
I wasn't happy when she started touching my bear though. It's mine. But was that selfish? Cause I don't want to be selfish; that's mean.
Awww, well, I'd understand if you weren't immediately happy to see her touching all the stuff that used to be yours.

The Fate of the Third, or, Why Won't You Die?

Hello everyone. For those of you who have seen the last three updates for Wellington Women, you'll notice that Digi is a lot older than she's supposed to be. So, yeah. I've ended up playing differently than I blog. In this post, you'll see Digi grow up to her proper age, and see how Bella got her new look.

On with the update!

It was a dark and stormy night... Okay, it wasn't stormy, and every night is dark, and I guess the place wasn't dark since there were porch lamps outside... Okay, I suck at telling ghost stories, so I'll stop now.

So where were we? Oh yeah, Bella was mourning the loss of Puppy, and it's about time for Digi to grow up.
Since I'm not a total taskmaster, I'll let you rest a bit and spend some time with your daughter.

Well, you'll have to excuse me for not jumping for joy at being allowed to do something I have full rights to do as a mother.

Hi all. Yeah, it's me, Fini, with yet another (somewhat) short project. At least I was smart enough to put off Prosperity. Anyway, welcome to the I Love You to Death Challenge. It's the soft-core version of the Black Widow Challenge, especially since I couldn't deal with only $1500, considering how much I like foundations and having to tear down the house and start over was something I had to do in Legacy. It was NOT fun. Anyway, everyone seems to be pretty ingrained into the Black Widow Challenge, so I'll start by giving the run-down.

Looking for Mr. Right? What do you do with all the Mr. Wrongs? Or Ms. Wrongs?
Your challenge:
Make a Sim in CAS, male or female, any looks, any aspiration, any personality, any sized family. Although we suggest just one or two Sims.
Move this Sim onto any sized lot in any neighborhood. We suggest you make a new neighborhood, but it is not required.
No cheats, No hacks, NO ELIXIR.
Take your Sim and have him or her MARRY as many Townie or NPC Sims as he/she can in his/her lifetime. (what a great way to get rid of Amin)
"WHAT?" you say! You can only be married to one Sim at a time! Of course, that is where the fun comes in.
Kill off your spouses in as many different ways as you can, each type of death is given a point value based on how difficult it is to arrange that type of death.
The scoring goes like this:
Drowning - 1 point (done)
Old Age - 2 points
Old Age in Platinum - 3 points
Flies - 4 points
Fire - 5 points
Scared to Death - 6 points
Starvation - 7 points (done)
Electrocution - 8 points
Disease - 9 points
Satellite - 10 points

Bonus of 25 extra points if you get all 10 different deaths.
The game runs from the first day of Adult (remember, CAS Sims only) to the death of your Black Widow(er). Remember, you have to have someone else in the house at the time of death or the whole lot goes inactive and you lose your album. So either adopt a Sim, or allow the final spouse to survive.
You MUST have pictures of all Marriages AND deaths. The tombstones become glitchy, and might vanish, so your pictures will be your only proof. BUT, you cannot get rid of your tombstones on purpose.
Of course, you can take any other pictures you want, and make a very touching story, perhaps how your Sim was searching for Ms. Right, and found her in the end, only to die of old age (leaving a huge cash legacy for the other household occupant(s))

Nice and simple. Of course this wasn't updated for Open for Business, I mean Nightlife, okay University, so there are many more ways to kill a Sim. So I'll start with the basic 10 deaths and work from there.

Now for the fun part, for me: introductions!

Belladonna is from a place where the sun obviously doesn't shine very often. Either that or she never got out much. Being the daughter of a night walker sucks.
